We must be a light for future Generations

Christianity isn't being weighed in the balance and found wanting, it's being tried and found difficult, and rejected. Christ isn't looking for you to bring all your lousy sins to Him. He wants YOU; your heart,your emotions, every part of YOU.

The signs are obvious, they are everywhere
All that we hear about is the gloom and despair
Too many would be prophets saying
"Its the end of it all"
Cause mother earth cant take much more
The hammers gonna fall

So nature has its needs, that's a lesson learned
But it appears to me there are greater concerns
Cause we can save the planet
Thinking we will somehow survive
But father time is calling us
To save somebody's life

So I wont bend and I wont break
I wont water down my faith
I wont compromise in a world of desperation
What has been I cannot change
But for tomorrow and today
I must be a light for future generations

If we could find a way to preserve our faith
So those who follow us
See the price that was paid
Then maybe when they question
What its gonna take to survive
They'll find the strength to carry on
In what we leave behind

Looking in the eyes of the children
Knowing that tomorrow is at stake
When the choice is up to them
Will they have the strength to say

I was thinking about posting this video after reading the title!!!! and look ^^

[The_Light_Within]

I figure this is one of the best songs out there for youth and adults alike. We don't benefit from listening to the trash that is on the Tv and radio, in fact that music makes it harder for us to walk in the ways of Jesus. Let's use this music as a tool for God's glory. Let us honor him in everything we do and say.

I remember growing up as a teen and I heard this song. This is one of the songs that kept me going for doing youth to the max! Hard to believe it's been 15 or so years!
